My lifelong goal has been to embrace a holistic approach to healthcare, delving into the root causes of diseases rather than just addressing symptoms. Collaborating with Dr. Wade, my focus at CalHealth Family Clinic is prioritizing patients, upholding financial transparency, and delivering personalized care.
My path to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner encompasses a 20-year tenure as an ICU nurse within the Valley's major hospital systems. Achieving a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999, I later pursued a Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019. Additionally, my service as a naval officer spans two decades, including two tours in Kandahar, Afghanistan. The principles of the cost of freedom and unwavering support for all U.S. military branches profoundly influence my values, guiding my contributions to CalHealth Family Clinic.
My commitment to compassionate care, honor, and dedication stems from my experiences as an ICU nurse and military officer. As a woman of faith, I find fulfillment in attending church with my husband of over 25 years. Extending the same level of care to our patients as I do to my loved ones is a principle I uphold. Our lively household, comprising five children and five dogs, exudes enthusiasm and love—a positive energy I am enthusiastic about bringing to CalHealth Family Clinic.
